Papich 선생님의 약전이 개정되어 발간되었읍니다. (2010.11월말)

2판의 경우는 CD ROM이 부속되어 있었지만 이는 보호자에게 안내를 하는 용도의 한정된 내용이 수록되어 있어 국내에서는 그닥 효용성이 있는 편이 아니었읍니다.

3판에서는 CD ROM이 제외되었으며 대신 해당하는 웹사이트에 도서 일련번호를 등록하면 동일한 내용을 이용할 수 있읍니다.

(2010년 11월말 현재 아직 웹사이트는 작동하지 않는 것으로 보입니다)

 

Plumb's Drug Handbook과 항상 비교되는 타이틀입니다.

Plumb의 경우는 상세하고 방대한 내용이 장점인 대신 간단하고 일목요연하게 정리된 면에서는 Papich의 도서가 좀 더 편리하다는 평이 있읍니다만 사용하시는 용도에 따라 선택은 달라질 수 있으리라 생각합니다.

 

무엇보다도 본 서의 장점이라고 할 수 있는 부분은(양실장의 관점에서) 부록입니다.

1) 하단의 목차란에 노란색으로 표시를 한 부분을 보시면 아시겠지만 우선 수액적합성에 대한 도표가 일목요연하게 정리되었읍니다.

임상현장에서 자주 고민되는 부분을 자주 볼 수 있는 위치(책의 뒷쪽 안표지)에 배치하였읍니다.

 

2) 경주마에 있어서의 금지약물이 정리되어 있읍니다.

 

3) Cytochrome P-450 Enzyme과 MDR1 (P-Glycoprotein)에 영향을 줄 수 있는 약물들이 정리되어 있읍니다. (MDR1은 이버멕틴 계열의 부작용과 관계가 있는 것으로 흔히 알려져 있읍니다)
