최근 여러 출판사에서 영상진단 아틀라스들이 상당히 큰 판형으로 발간되고 있읍니다.

 

본 서는 최고급 품질의 소재를 사용하고 내용이 깊고 꼼꼼하기로 유명한 독일의 Schluertersche에서 발간되었읍니다. (비싸기로도 유명합니다!)

기존의 특수동물의 영상진단 아틀라스들에 수록된 내용들이 최근의 장비교체, 장비의 발달, 진료수준의 발달 등에 비해 빈약했던 점은 만회하고도 남을 책이라고 보입니다.

 

책의 구성은 총 3개의 챕터로 구분되며 각 페이지 모서리에는 해당하는 동물의 아이콘이 자리잡고 있읍니다.

조류, 소형포유류, 파충류의 순서로 배열된 이 책은 X Ray와 초음파, 그리고 CT, MRI까지 다루고 있어 미래의 진료 또는 심화진료에도 많은 참고가 될 것입니다.

 

보는 관점에 따라서는 아직 개, 고양이의 영상진단에 대한 도서보다는 내용이 다양하지 않다는 느낌을 받으실 수도 있겠지만 특수동물의 진료에 대한 연구의 발전상황으로 볼 때에는 앞으로도 당분간 가장 중요한 도서로 자리잡을 것이라 생각합니다.

 

사진의 퀄리티는 여태까지 발간된 영상진단 도서중에서 가장 높은 편입니다.
